Nearly the end of March and have already broken my resolution to post at least once a day. 
No excuses. My DH and youngest son went to Tonga for 2 weeks and it was too hot here to do  anything much.
Feb. and March are always very busy months for our house hold. we have back to school, Uni. and work. then our Church has its missions Conference, so it is busy -house for visitors, cooking (always need that) and preparing our hearts.

Happy New Year.

My new year's resolution. I am definitely going to be on here at least once a week. hopefully, every other day. My sewing goals keep on multiplying. Have started a candlewicking. It is a lovely crinoline lady.And I need to do something with all my blocks from the BOM

And all my hexis. Plus today I found so many new BOM s starting. Hopefully my hands will strengthen up. DH and youngest son are off to Tonga on Friday. I will have 2 weeks to get in a routine. Did I mention my Dear Jane and my Farmer's Wife quilt to start as well. They are going to be done by hand. EEk !And then there is my crocheted flowers and blankets to be done. A big list but I want to be very productive.

This cushion has been on my to finish list for an age.On the forum that I belong we had to provide a cushion cover and do the first bit of embroidery. Over 12 months it then went round Australia for other ladies to add to. I was so excited when mine returned home. It is amazing. The work is just beautiful. It has been sitting with my other UFO's and today it has been put together and added to the chair I sit in,not to be touched by grubby boys' hands.Off to do more.

Dolls

On one of my friend's blogs she is talking about dolls. No-one can be too old to play with Dolls.

I received this little doll in a swap from the forum that I love.My little gd Lily loves it very much. It has taken over from "Jemima" Anyway pop-over and check out Clare's blog and the other lovely bloggers who are happy to talk about their dolls.

Too hot to do  anything constructive to-day so I am saying hullo to my blog and going to give it a makeover.Meanwhile have a look at what has kept me too busy to attend to my blog and my sewing this past year.Baby Isaac was born 5 weeks prem to my eldest boy and his wife on the 24th Dec. The 2 little cherubs in the Masters car trolley are big brother William and sister, Elizabeth(who gets called
Lily).Now I am off to do lots of constructive work on this blog.
