I happen to be at the op shop while they were having a special craft sale. $28 for a heap of material and threads. Some thread is hand dyed--It is lovely.

Finally was able to get over to Tuggeranong and pick up my software . Dear Jane software. So exciting. Happen to be at Vinnies for their craft sale and picked up some beautiful pieces and lovely thread at a good price.Off to install now.

Well Mother's Day has been and gone. we followed our tradition and had Take away. When we finished I spent most of the afternoon resting. It was lovely. I am so thankful for each one of my children. We are now embarking on a new adventure. After finally having the last of the children not needing my attention as much with his schooling I was settling into an easy life........no. We are going to be our little grandson's babysitters for 3 days a week. We are really looking forward to this he is such a beautiful child.

I am so excited. My patchwork shop has placed my order for my DJ software.It s going to be so much easier now. today I have been making some Mother's Day gifts . Our church hosts the ladies from the "Aged " (their Word)units next door.

Isn't this picture beautiful. This is the first time we have had a second bloom. I have just put this on invites for our mother's day lunch. my friends at Among the Gum Trees are going to give us projects next week for Mother's Day. I am looking forward to that. One of them Vikki is having a giveaway, so pop over and see what she has. She has a pattern published which is just lovely.

My busy time is over. I have a lovely new lounge dining room. Now I want to make some covers for my lounge suite. I think they call them "anti-macassars". we had a lovely time sight seeing. Canberra is a beautiful place and after 22 yrs I never tire of it.

I am actually hiding in my bedroom. We have been moving rooms and I am sick of it. This Friday we will have some visitors with us for a week from South W.A. My new job (1 day a week ) is going well. Trouble is I do not get to go out and look around. There is a beautiful patchwork shop acroos the road which calls to me but it closes at the same time I am going to have to figure something out.
