I made this table mat for Linda from our forum. It was to be a creation from a chosen designer. In this case it was  Vicki. She has a lot of beautiful work and I enjoyed making this. Linda likes it and so does her cat apparently.

What a weekend. I managed to get to the "big" garage sale before meeting the boys for brekky. Picked up 2 beautiful antique (I mean antique )linen handkerchiefs. They are so fragile but beautiful. "What am I going to do with them?" I am open to suggstions. Also picked up a lovely old book,in perfect condition on heirloom sewing plus 2 Women's weekly sewing books.  So nice to be able to get to a sale as there is usually sport or  other commitment.

My first blog win. My friend Robyn had a give away and I won.There is a lovely pink and white fq which is going straight to the sewing room for Lillybet. (that is what they are calling her now.)

I love doing hexis. Really enjoying the swap on the forum, so I thought I would show you what I have received so far.My color choice was cream centre with apricot/green petals. I am extremely happy with the ones sent to me. I must admit I really like the hexis I have seen out there in blog world that have been "fussy cut"and am aiming to do some more of them.

Sorry that I have not been on here since the safe arrival of the little girl. She is beautiful. On our forum I went into a swap where we had to use a design from Vicki. I received a beautiful table runner from Doris. the colors are lovely. I have not finished mine yet as I am just not happy with it.These other 2 blocks are from diffrent BOM's as well.
