Tuesday's Treasures. 40 years ago(that I cannot believe) a young country girl left a little town and went to the BIG City. she learnt how to look after sick people and hold the hands of those who were going to lose someone special. After a while she got married and left the big smoke for a lovely coastal town but due to sick children and the need for a much better hospital moved back. Don't I live in a beautiful city???? We may have some undesirables at times ---but the views are beautiful. Australia's Capital is a real treasure and I love living here.

I've only ever holidayed in Canberra, but I just love it. Lots of great things to see and beautiful gardens.

You have the best of both worlds in Canberra, as in many ways it is like a big country town.

I've never viewed Canberra from that angle and it looks quite nice! DD is continuing her Uni studies there next year and I have intentions of visiting so we must meet up with each other :).

I've never been to Canberra, but my daughter tells me it's beautiful. One day, when I don't have three fighting kids in the back of the car, I'll make the trip *grin*. toni xxx
